It's not an unplayable mess like 06, it's not a slog like Shadow, and it certainly isn't a complete mess like Lost World. Which makes it better than half of the Sonic games by default to be frank. Great drama, but also great lighthearted moments, just like the classics.ДЄgain, not very passionate about Sonic, but why is this game exactly so terrible? What makes it so much worse than something like Heroes? What makes the game be 'worse than Shadow' to some people? I don't get it, it's not a great or even truly good game for sure, but it's perfectly decent. I still think the best writing was in Unleashed and Heroes. At least Shadow and 06 tried, modern Sonic stories don't try, and suck at being dramatic. I'm with J that modern Sonic writing is terrible. Stages are pretty but mechanically uninspiredДЄgain, why is everyone so surprised that a modern Sonic game is shallow? That's always what I enjoyed about modern Sonic, mindless speed and spectacle. I'll agree there, classic Sonic shouldn't have been there and brings the game down for me. They're the same as Colors and Generations, both of which are beloved by many.
